Three Week Countdown

July has begun and July will come to an end. We are on our three week countdown. This post is a little scatter-brained. I thank my 9 hour work days for this one.

Today I turned in our last month's rent and made arrangements for our deposit. We also got our documents in order for health insurance. It's really coming to an end. Jon and Arla left on Monday, they were the last of our group of friends to leave. It's just the two of us, and a growing baby beano.

Next week I'll be entering the 6th month. So far ankles only get semi-swollen if I walk too much. I can pop my hips and back at any moment. I didn't realize that carrying more weight in your belly and gaining weight are totally two different experiences. I got my first maternity top from the Kelley family. I haven't seen any maternity clothes in Korea, fortunately the trend is loose enough for me to only have to buy a size up.

Do you like how I match our couch?

Still working on names, and we are trying to create a short list. But, you should know that mommy and baby are bonding with this routine we have. I drink orange juice and she taps me to let me know that she loves me. It's such a fun bit. I don't think we'll go on the road with this act, it's more for in home entertainment.

Patrick thinks he's gaining sympathy weight. It's funny to hear him talk about it because I really don't eat anymore than I use to, I am just more careful about the foods I choose each day. He's training for a marathon, so I think he's trying to be in the best condition he can for the big race. He tells me that he reads the daddy section everyday, but we both now he doesn't. Because when he does, he says stuff like, "You know there are a lot of ***hole dads out there if they have to write stuff like this."

Portland, Or. made the entertainment page of the Korean Herald this morning. American Idol started it's tour at the Rose Garden. It's great to see Koreans picking the "important" info from America to share with South Korea.

This weekend we plan to hit up the ball park because it'll be the last chance before we head home. Next week is Japan!!!! Then on a plane back to the good ol' U.S. of A.
