The Nursery

On Sunday we dropped Reesa off at the church nursery for the first time. I really didn't think it would be a big deal and it happened so fast. We went to church at 9am to meet with one of the pastors to have coffee and get to know one another. When we met up he said, "I have some announcements to make, while I'm doing that you can drop her off at the nursery and we can go chat." Huh?

Patrick and I looked at each other and decided to go take a look. We've met with the ladies in the nursery before Reesa was born just to see how they operate. As we walked upstairs and began to fill out her registration and her name was being taped to everything; I began to get a little nervous. All of a sudden I was getting teary-eyed!! Me....teary. As you may know, I'm really not a cryer, however, since I became a mom things have really shifted in the emotions department. Now I have to invest in water-proof mascara.

It was nice to have a good conversation and not be interrupted. But I was sure glad to pick her up and all three of us go to church. Being a new mom is a steep learning curve. :)

On to Reesa photos.

She looks so cute with headbands.

We're getting ready to go to Pioneer Place downtown.

Reesa hanging with Aunt Alison.

Getting ready for V-Day!!

Reesa loves her daddy-daughter time.
