Wow!! So much has happened in the last few weeks. We have officially moved and are more or less settled. Not all the rooms are in order but everything is put away so we are functional. This last weekend we got our living room and kitchen all in order. We have also wasted no time in opening our home for hosting. We really missed having people over and just sharing life with those we enjoy spending time with.
We just got our Internet in order, hence why I am blogging about all this so late.
Now on to the really cool stuff. Reesa. She has done so much recently.
1. We took our first big plane trip to Phoenix two weeks ago. Reesa did really well and I was so proud of her. It helped that I had Larry and Kathy next to me on the plane. We got to go to the front of all the lines at the airport because we had a baby. Awesome!! Patrick was in a conference in San Fran so we were apart for a week. Reesa and I really missed him.
2. Reesa now has eaten pears, peas, and carrots. She is loving food and likes to make slurping noises when she eats.
3. Reesa went in the pool!! At first she didn't know what to think of it, but by day 3 she was so intrigued by the other big kids in the pool. It was so cute to watch.
4. Reesa has finally transitioned from her pack-n-play to her big girl crib. She has been sleeping in her own room for a while but we are now settled in our new home and she can finally enjoy her new bed. She looks like such a big girl when she is sleeping :)
5. Reesa is growing like a weed!! She is so long that there are some 9 month old babies that she is bigger than!! What? She must get her height from her mother. We are already in 9month clothing and she is making her way into her 12 month stuff. I can't handle how fast she is growing. I'm not ready for a toddler!!
6. Reesa and I visited with Ally and Kris in Phoenix. We went to the Zoo, walked downtown, and hung out with some of their friends that absolutely adored Reesa. Which of course she loves!!

It has been a fun couple of weeks and we are still getting our home in order. Photos to follow soon.
