Yesterday at 2pm we pulled into the Portland office to pick up Patrick for Reesa's check-up. The whole family went and it was nice to have the three of us together as we waited for Dr. Ruby to visit us.
The stats: 90% for height and 25% for weight. A bit on the skinny end. Nothing to be of concern but we have to be more selective on the good fatty foods so that Reesa's weight doesn't go any lower. The doc said, "Looking at you both I don't expect a chunk baby, you just want to make sure she's not losing weight." I like Dr. Ruby. She tells you what you need to know. No fluff.
We also passed the 6 page questionnaire with flying colors. I spent 20 minutes yesterday morning filling it out to get a 5 second look over and a smiley face. Uggh. I guess they only look at the "not yet" answers on your baby's development.
As we left, the nurse said, "See you for her 1 year." I'm sorry....come again? I'm so not ready for that!!
Well, this morning Reesa and I had some full fat yogurt and cheerios. I had to get video of her because this is the time that she likes to flex her fingers. Later, she also took her spoon for the first time and dipped it in her bowl and fed herself!! Why does she even need me? More time to sip my coffee I guess.

She is such a doll! I can hardly believe she will be 1 year old this fall. CRAZY.
OH so cute! I love how she watches her hand wave!
