Bambino Geist is on his way

This weekend we threw a baby shower for mi hermana Alison. We had 40 people at Kathy's house at 10:30am!! It was a brunch frenzie with a make it yourself parfait, fruit salad, yummy quiche, bagels, and of course cupcakes!! Sorry I don't have any photos because I was too busy chatting. :) It was so fun to watch Alison open up all the wonderful presents she received for baby Geist. Speaking of gifts, I do have photos of what Patrick and I made for Alison. I was so excited because they were made with total love and excited to meet our nephew!!


Baby Geist (I'm rooting for Isaiah), I can't wait to hold you in three weeks or less. I should also mention that Alison looks amazing for being 9 months pregnant and she is going to be such a great mommy. Reesa couldn't ask for a better Aunt. :)

With such a long Saturday, we needed a total relaxing and restful Sunday. So what did that look like? A stroll in the Pearl District.

We went to the Pearl Bakery for coffee and a wheat roll for Reesa. Then we stopped by Buffalo Exchange and Jameson Square. On our way back to the car we spotted a hot dog stand and couldn't resist. We all took a long nap, watched the Emmy's, and had a nice family dinner to top off the evening. Reesa and I love the weekends because we get to spend all day being a family of 3!!
I love and hate Monday mornings. Patrick has to go back to work but Reesa and I like to watch the Today Show. The best/worst dressed list from the Emmy's was on!!
