Yesterday Reesa and I went to Target for a little V-Day trip. We've been looking on craigslist for a kitchen to put in her room. So far no luck. So we bought a bubbles book off the $1 rack for now.
When Patrick came home we made Reesa dinner and we had some Thai appetizers to hold us over until she went to bed and we could enjoy our Valentine dinner. Patrick took 2 of the roses he bought for me and put them in Reesa's bath. Sweet huh?
She didn't want them in at first and then she forgot about them once the rest of her toys were in the tub.
After Reesa went to bed, Patrick and I enjoyed some yummy sushi and a bottle of Tempranillo we bought last year on our Valentine's date.
We ended our evening with playing cards on the couch. A lovely way to stay in.

Fun! Valentine's Day is a little different w/little ones around, eh? I had given the girls chicken nuggets early and turned on Ice Age 2 (free on demand) in the living room; Brooklyn watched, but Bailey preferred to sit at the table with Justin and I as we ate our Gnocchi. So much for romance, but it was fun!
