May Updates

There is a long list of updates this month. Starting with Mr. Patrick Kelley!! He is now the Director of Graduate Admissions. I'm so proud of him. He's worked so hard developing his programs and their new Physical Therapy Program that it was no surprise that he would be selected for this position. His office is also being moved to the Portland Center which is just down the hill from our place. He'll still have meetings in Newberg but his home office will only be 5 minutes away.

Reesa will be moving into a new classroom in June. She's moving to the 3 year old room. I can't believe she'll be with 3 year olds!! Aruna is her new teacher and we love her. She's actually the first person to meet Reesa when we started going to the Mountain Park Rec Center.

She now knows the sounds letters make. We've been working on them since she has such a interest in reading. We've also learned to count to 10 in Spanish and she knows about 10 other words in Spanish. Reesa also makes the cutest comparisons. Yesterday she told us that the green car is the same color as her green tooth brush.

Porter started rolling over at the beginning of May. He's only 3 months. I wasn't ready for that. And he can scoot himself a few feet across the floor. What?! He loves to sit up and watch his sister play. He loves watching Reesa jump and reading books with her.

My update? Nothing too major. I'm starting to feel in more of a groove with two kids. Making dinner is still tough because Porter wants to be held and Reesa is hungry. So it looks more like a circus act than anything. :) I'm running more. Reading even less than before. Just as tired. Just as loopy. And still find humor in it all and love the chaos because I'm the one that is with them all day. I wouldn't want it any other way. Well maybe for Porter to sleep completely through the night. The full night like his sister :)

Porter loves his toes.

Porter's Dedication on Sunday. He fell fast asleep shortly after.

A few laughs from the Portman.
