Today was the first day of snow!! Wow. It was so cool to be walking down the street of Seoul, heading to the dry cleaners to get some pants fixed. I got all bundled up and made my way. I realized that now that my top 5 list for preparation for winter was in place; that snow surely must follow. And it did!!

So here I am all nicely bundled up with mug in hand ready to endure the cold so that I can go back to work and later come home with a bag full of Star Burger takeout.

We have found our local burger joint. They make it fresh and on the spot!! So delicious. I have to get ready and beef up because I'm actually going to attempt heading to the gym this evening. Patrick has been a far more loyal gym member than I have. After work, the couch looks so inviting, and then there's quite of bit of cleaning to do in our apartment. You know like sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc. So since all of that takes a daunting 10 minutes, I have to come up with other excuses like: blogging. However today I realized that it's important to try and stay healthy, especially when your husband goes to the gym 5 times a week; it can really make a girl feel like a lazy bum. Yet, it will still not keep me away from the fries!! Why would I do that?

Isn't it cute? The owner saw me taking a picture and he ran over to say hi. You could say we are regulars and they wave to us on a regular basis. I pass this multiple times a day, so it's really hard to not fall to temptation. If I turn my ahead away I'm staring at McDonald's. You could call it a win-win or a lose-lose situation, depending on your french fries perspective. The owner was so sweet, he asked to take a picture for me.

Look at me being a good housewife and making a home cooked meal for my husband on his break!! We are also right next to Coldstone and 31 flavors. Such a great block we live on!!
Tonight we are going to celebrate our 4 months in Korea and go to Sideway for a wine tasting event. The last time we went, we met a really nice couple and he has called us a few times to hang out, but haven't been able to connect. Even though its a Thursday night, I figured it couldn't be that bad to go to work a bit tired from the evening festivities. They are offering a tasting of 5 different wines, and they start off at $60 a bottle, so we are definitely not passing this one up. What better way to enjoy the cold than looking out the window with a warm glass of red in hand. Not to mention since we don't have wine glasses in our little abode, I accept every opportunity to swirl a large wine glass. It's just not the same sipping out of a dollar tree cup. :) Here's a picture of it, isn't it cute!!

I finally figured out how to download pictures from the camera onto my laptop instead of using Patrick's, so more photos to come. We are in good spirits because tomorrow is Friday!!
