How many do you think you CAN put down?
Do you even want to think about how much steak you are capable of eating?
As we are approaching our vacation time, we are saying adios to a few friends. Not only are we going off on a Southeast Asian tour, so are our friends Jayesh, Jon, and Arla. What better way to celebrate our trips and the sadness of not seeing one another for a month than to go to an all-you-can-eat Brazilian Steakhouse!!

You get to choose from three different cuts and as long as you can keep the food down, you are good to go and can have as many pieces as you would like. Patrick, David, and Jon were able to knock back eight steaks each. Arla and I had five, but I got accused of cutting mine up and pushing them around my plate until I could pass them off to a guy's plate. I'll have you know I ate what I was capable of but since I was busy enjoying my wine and Arla's company the steaks got cold, and I wanted a new hot one. So, if you want a new one, you have to eat your cold one. I think it was skillful of me to be oh so clever; it's not my fault that others accepted my cold slab.
We had a great night and it was worth being tired on our last day of work on Friday.
Jayesh is going on a long hostel trip to Thailand, Vietnam, and China. When I mean hostel, he thinks it's cool to stay in hostels whenever he has the opportunity. He really likes having random conversations with strangers, so he can share about them whenever anyone gives him a chance.
Jon and Arla are heading out to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. They are going camping, they actually packed a tent!! Arla is my female sanity. I wish they would be around when David is here.

Everyone else came because we feel bad that they are not going on vacation, and will have to pick up the slack while we are rejuvenating and basking in the sun.
This is a random picture of our first bouquet of fresh flowers. I got to pick them all out at the shop last weekend. We needed something to put on our table, since we had our t.v. taken out. Patrick thought the wall looked funny. So we decided flowers. Yes, there is a Christmas Tree next to it. It's not real, Kathy sent it to us. It's just too fun to throw out.
