El Doctor

It really hit us that we are going home soon. This week we have been dealing with bank accounts, flight itineraries, the post office yada yada. Today we start the packing process and get our boxes in order to send home. Hopefully we can do it in one or two. I think Patrick really hates that I like to buy and keep all the books I read. I think I did pretty good, considering. We also have manage to sell or give away most of our stuff, minus the couch. It's still on craigslist, but we are hopeful this weekend.

Does anyone want a lavender couch? Pass the word around town.

This week has been the week of "lasts". Our last date night, our last full weekend, my last test day, etc. Yesterday was our last doctor's appointment in Korea. Everything is going great with little beano. She is now 1.4lbs!! Yesterday we saw her open and close her mouth, she looks so healthy and we couldn't be happier. My doctor says that she's going to quadruple in weight this month so it's important that you keep eating healthy. That means my belly is going to really expand. I'm so glad I will be on a plane soon before it gets too uncomfortable to fly.

I'm really going to miss my doctor and all the special treatment we get. We have an ultrasound every month, with a folder of about twenty photos, and a take home dvd of the entire ultrasound. She's been good to us. It came to a close yesterday with a thick packet of all our paperwork and tests done. A little bittersweet.

However, the upside of going to the doctor is that we are really close to Itaewon, our favorite Thai restaurant is there. After some yummy pad thai, we hit the shops and bought a few goodies for friends and family. I look at the mini-shopping spree we did yesterday and I am now beginning to wonder how in the world we are going to get all this stuff home. Oops.

The highlight of the evening was as we were walking up the stairs last night Patrick says, "Have I said thanks for carrying our baby? No? Thanks for doing that, I really appreciate it."

What a sweetie. Happy Packing!!
