Finally Feels Like Winter!!

It's been cold here in Portland, cold enough to snow. Finally we got snow yesterday!! It's melting already, but there's enough in the trees and on the ground to still enjoy the view outside our window.

Yesterday was a big day for Reesa and I. She had her second play date with Maya Erickson. She slept right through the morning. It was nice to hang out with Carrie and I'm glad they got home before it was bumper to bumper traffic.

Once Reesa woke from her ridiculously long sleep, we got dressed and she wanted to play with the camera because she was wearing her favorite outfit from Aunt Alison and wanted to show off.

Then we ventured to babys"R"us to purchase a few more of those hideous pacifiers she loves so much. Again, she slept through the entire trip. I even had time to go through a car wash and vacuum! Kids these days!! As I was heading home up the hill, it starting to snow!!

By 4pm, it looked like this :) Again, Reesa slept through it. Poor Patrick was stuck in traffic for 4 hours before he could get home. I also watched the mail man slide sideways down our hill. Luckily he used our driveway to get himself out. Who do you call if a mail truck turns over?

Turns our that Reesa is going through a growth spurt and she sleeps to conserve energy. Isn't that interesting? She eats and then sleeps to store it for her growth. Our baby's so cute :) She woke for an evening bath and a little snuggle time with her dad and then conked out again on the couch.

What a cutie!!
