Reesa's grabbing now

Reesa is now at the stage of seeing colors and more complex shapes. A video of her grabbing her ducky last week. It's fascinating to watch her as she begins to process the world. Right now she can only control her eyes and her mouth. She uses her tongue as a means of processing information. Who knew? Her arms and legs are not connected to her as far as she knows at the moment. In fact, her arms startle her when they move and she begins to cry. It's quite cute to see her facial expressions when that happens.

Here's a video of her grabbing her ducky.

On other news, Reesa has been all organic in the diapering business for a few weeks now. We started out slow and used cloth wipes. Once I became comfortable with that then I made her own baby wipe solution. Lastly, I ordered her diapers. It took about a week to get use to but I love them now!! I thought I would be grossed out to wash them, however, it isn't the case with your own child. I feel a lot better now; throwing a large heavy garbage bag filled with Reesa's diapers grossed me out more than anything. As you can see below, cloth diapering has come a long way!!

Hooray! I knew she was close! Careful with those big beautiful earrings. Thanks for the props in your last blog. I had so much fun visiting you and your family. I miss you like crazy! You're kind of like pringles (?): "once you pop, you can't stop" (or, when I get to see you for a little while, I want to see you all the time) :)
