Go Timbers!!

Friday night we went over to Alison and Aaron's house for dinner. Our friends the Ubels came up from Eugene for the night and Reesa had Brooklyn and Bailey to play with. Reesa absolutely loves kids.

I snuck out for a bit to watch SATC 2 with some gals from Missio. I couldn't believe my Friday!! I actually had time to get a mani/pedi and read for over an hour. Whoa. I couldn't even remember what that felt like before Friday. The last time I had a mani/pedi was 2 days before Reesa was born. I miss chatting it up with the other ladies in there, talking about their kids, restaurants, and whatever else comes up.

Saturday we headed downtown to walk along the park blocks and take a stroll through the farmer's market. The weather wasn't the best but it was nice to just to be outside and people watch.

Later that evening we went to PGE park for the Timbers vs. Boca Negra Jrs. game. It was so fun!! 3-2 victory for the Timbers and it was tied until the 90th minute. So fun to watch a good game. Reesa sported her daddy's Timbers hat and she was going crazy at the game. She couldn't stop jumping and screaming. She even tugged on the guy sitting next to us because she had so much energy. She was a riot!! It was like she had just taken a 4 shot espresso before entering the stadium. During half time we headed up to a suite because Patrick and David's Willamette coach has a seasonal suite and we knew a few people up there. So the second half of the game we sat up there while Reesa had completely knocked out. She's not ready to cheer for an entire soccer game just yet.

After the game we had to hit up the taco truck outside. Which brings me to an announcement!! June 26th: Aaron and Maria's Taco Truck Birthday Party!! More details to come via evite. Mark your calendar!!

This morning as we were eating breakfast, Reesa is in her walker going crazy. Patrick says, "Reesa is an extrovert Maria. Whoa. That's intense." Thanks hun. We do have an active baby on our hands but it's nice that she's so fun to be around and loves to be out with people. It makes it easier to go to most places. Good job Reesa you did so well at your first of many soccer games this season.
