This weekend Patrick worked on a few projects around our little casa, like our blinds!! Yes we now have blinds upstairs in our bedrooms. Next step curtains. Like I said before we are taking our sweet time putting the finishing touches, because there's no rush. Although having sheets as coverings for the last month has felt like we lived in a fort. Reesa liked it!! You will have to excuse the mess in these photos, we don't tiddy up on Sundays; we leave that till Monday. :)

Friday night we had Joe and Alene over for a movie night which turned out to be more of a "lets watch episodes of our favorite shows" till midnight. I got to sleep in on Saturday till 9:30am. I needed it to recover from my binge on M&M's & licorice.
Alison and Aaron made it back from Mexico and came over on Saturday for a bit. Reesa was super excited to see them and they even brought her a pretty orange dress.

Shortly after that the Erickson Family arrived and we had Chinese takeout with some refreshing white wine. I haven't had Chinese food since China, but I figure it's about time I give it another whirl. So far so good; no incidents to report in the first 24 hours. This is Maya in her frog boots and backpack. Reesa followed Maya around all evening.

Today we made it to the 9am service and had lunch with Jono and Amy at this cafe off 50th & Division. Super good huevos rancheros and they even have a habeniero sauce that really gives it a kick. Delicioso!! Patrick took Reesa to the pool in the afternoon while I had a chance to do a little cardio in the gym. Yeah for break time!! I didn't overdo it because I'm not really in shape and I still need energy to make it to 8pm for Reesa's bedtime. I've made that mistake before :)
Now Reesa is napping so I can blog and Patrick is cooking artichokes before his soccer game. This weekend was jam-packed but oh so fun when you get to spend quality time with friends.
A little nightcap if you will......a Reesa video!!
