A Good Sunday

Sunday was Patrick's first Father's Day and we started off the morning with a yummy breakfast of french toast, french press, and turkey bacon.....yum. Reesa took a nice morning nap and allowed us to have a quiet breakfast and eat the entire meal without interruption. What a sweet gal to do that for her daddy. :)

Since it was Father's Day, Patrick got to choose when he could open his card and present, which meant immediately!!

Once Reesa woke up we made our way over to Terwilliger to one of the SW Trails and hike for an hour or so. Reesa didn't care for the big hiking pack so we'll have to try again this weekend. She just likes her front pack so that she can nap comfortably in nature. This girl is a goof ball!! Every time we go for a hike within five minutes she falls asleep.

For lunch we met up for a Kelley/Geist/Nicola family gathering at Alison & Aaron's house. They were leaving at 3:30 for Harlow training so we had to meet up before they left. Later Patrick went off with his dad and Kristin to hit golf balls at the range and Reesa and I went home for a nap.

Dinner time came around and just the Kelley family got together at our house for some Pizzacato. I can honestly say that I was not hungry for dinner, but you can't pass up Pizzacato when it's brought right to your dining table.

Patrick wanted to eat, hike, and spend time with family for Father's Day and that's exactly what we did. He's still trying to tell me it's Father's Week so we can do what he wants to do!! You have to love him for trying.
