On Father's Day, it was Reesa's 7 month mark. I can't believe my baby is seven months old. A little over seven months ago, I was impatiently waiting to go into labor and trying to fill my days with unnecessary errands to occupy my mind. Back then I couldn't even imagine what our baby would like as a seven month old, and yet, here we are!!
A few milestones:
She is very vocal and I think she's getting closer to saying "dada"! Reesa is still chugging along on her solids. She is now eating wheat bread, potatoes, a little yogurt, and chocolate ice cream (thanks Aunt Alison & Uncle Aaron). Yesterday I went into Reesa's room after she woke up from her nap and she was sitting up in her crib. Yikes!! When did she start doing that??
Now that Reesa has her two bottom teeth she really likes her daddy's toothbrush. Not her own, her dads. Too cute. She also likes cords and outlets; those are being covered up this weekend. Also since the sun decided to make a presence in Portland we've been going to the park everyday this week. Reesa loves the swings!! She leans forward and watches her legs go up and down and laughs at how much she can wiggle around independently. If we go to a park where there are no swings, she is perfectly content watching the big kids run around screaming and laughing. She thinks big kids are so fascinating. Yesterday we were at a park on 21st and a 3 year old girl was hopping for Reesa and playing with her for about 20 minutes. She absolutely loved it.
Tomorrow we will watch the US game and get ready for our taco truck birthday party!! What better way to celebrate a US victory than with Corona, tacos, and 40 people!!

You're welcome for the chocolate ice cream! It's never too early to start teaching Reesa about the finer things in life. :)
This just makes me smile!!! Congrats mama!! That sitting up, pulling up, moving... it's gonna go so fast over the next couple of months... hold on tight!!! So so fun!!!
