Mom do you really need to take a photo of me so early? What a great face!!
On Friday, Reesa and I went to OMSI to check out the kiddo room. It was Reesa's first time and we thought it would be a fun activity and a chance to play with other infants her age. Reesa had a blast and played with a couple of 1 year olds. We played in the ball pit and climbed on the playmats. Another momma did a puppet show and Reesa was totally enamored with the horsey. We even got into the museum for free because I forgot my card in the car and I was heading back to the car when the lady stopped me and gave me a wink and a free stamp!! Yahoo!! She probably figures, "You're a parent. You'll be back and you'll spend enough money here for the next few decades."
Friday night we decided to have a nice family picnic at Counsel Crest to kick off our weekend.

I know our summer is not over but I can feel the fall right around the corner. So we decided to spend as much time outside as possible. Saturday morning Patrick helped Matt and Annie move into their new home. It's such a great place and super cozy in every way!!

Reesa loves to play bump noses with Aunt Annie. Later that evening we headed to 23rd and took a stroll through World Market, then walked all the way down to sushi boat on Northrup and then back up to grab a brownie at Starbuckies. A good evening to be out on 23rd.
Sunday we all went down to the waterfront for a family run. Patrick ran with Reesa and I for the first 5 miles and then he continued on for his 14.5 miler. Reesa and I hung out a cafe and took a stroll to the Salmon fountain to play in the sun while we waited for Papa Bear.
We concluded our evening with church and a beer with some friends at our local McMenamins. A good weekend entering into August.
Not sure if I've mentioned that Reesa stands on everything she can pull herself up on. Nothing is safe on our coffee tables and she has now moved from her army crawl to using all fours to get around. I can't believe at one point this little chica couldn't hold her own head up.

In two days we will have been back in the states for an entire year!! Whoa, time has really flown and I can't possible reflect yet in writing all that we have done and experienced in the last year. I need another two days.
