Three more weeks until Patrick's 3rd go around. It'll be Reesa's first time cheering on dad as he makes his way to the finish. I'm going to need a venti coffee that morning :)
Patrick bought Reesa a grown-up toothbrush since she apparently can tell the difference between her baby one and ours. Unfortunately this morning she still preferred her mama's toothbrush. I guess the family that shares their toothbrushes are close??????
Of course we went to OMSI this week. Reesa likes snack time now that she can eat on her own. Reesa also got to spend the afternoon playing with baby Geist's stuff while we hung out at Alison and Aaron's.
This week was the beginning of our trial 2 week pass at Gymboree. Yes, it's a clothing store and they have locations that are designed for play and music time. It's basically a huge gym for kiddos and they have different classes throughout the day based on their age. Reesa is at level 3, the 10-18month group. The teacher sings songs and we play games that follow the different songs. I wasn't thrilled about it at first, but I figured it's worth a shot since it is free.
Turns out....Reesa loves it!! Don't we all do things for our kids that we're not always thrilled about? Actually it's really fun to watch her crawl around and scream. It's always fun to watch your child enjoy what they are doing and so we will continue next week as well.
