We finally made it to the Melting Pot!! With one week to go before baby Geist's due date we celebrated and used our Christmas gift. The artichoke cheese fondue was delish and our seafood/meat selection was terrific. We had no room for dessert fondue but enough to go to 31 and get a scoop of icecream.
Saturday we went to the Erickson's to celebrate James' 35th birthday. Yahoo for James and his soccer funfetti cake!!
Reesa had a little too much sugar from the funfetti and was acting a little loopy.
Sunday after church we ate chicken wings and fries at Hopworks and then attempted a run along the waterfront from Willamette Park. Reesa and I made it 5.2 miles and Patrick finished 11. Reesa and I played in the car while we waited for dad. She's never sat in the front seat before so she was amazed with everything around her, including Patrick's wallet. I think she was looking for cash :)
This morning I'm very stiff and sore from my run; I blame the chicken wings. I think when Reesa wakes up we're going to hit downtown and try to find out when H&M will open. We also need to wash a boppy and a bouncy chair cover for baby Geist. A big day for us!!
