Clap Clap Clap

Reesa's nap hair on Friday!!

Reesa helped Uncle Aaron put together Aunt Alison's stool.

I'm totally in love with my new nephew. He has the cutest baby cry. He is being swaddled, placed on his side, and sucking. 3 of the 5 S's. Happiest Baby on the Block!!

This morning after having delish cinnamon french toast and french press (of course they go together :)), we were playing and having family time. Reesa is learning all sorts of "verbal commands" as Patrick likes to call them.

Reesa will give you a kiss if you ask for one, she will hand over an object if you ask for it, except her toothbrush. I have no idea why?? She will wave hello when you say hi and she will clap when you say "yeeeeeaaaaah!".

Although this video does show her clapping more importantly you can see the newest milestone, standing without support. Yowzers. I can't believe that she can hold herself up for a few seconds before she sits down and begins to crawl away.

After goofing around we went on an afternoon hike from Counsel Crest to the Korean War Memorial. We actually did a 5 mile hike in the city and still on a trail with lots of trees. I love Portland!!

A great start to the weekend but what would really put us over the edge: pumpkin carving so that we can bake pumpkin seeds!!
