Finally a break

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. To be totally honest, I haven't really felt like posting anything. We've had some interesting things going on but I've been way too exhausted to share.

Last week was Patrick's birthday. We had a few mini celebrations throughout the week. We celebrated with our small group, we had a sushi date night, we had a crab feed with the Geists, and of course with our immediate family. Patrick is officially the big 29!!

Last Friday we discovered some water stains on our ceiling and we had to call our HOA office to have someone come take a look. Before we purchased our condo the inspector told us to monitor this portion of our ceiling because it looked like it had been repaired but the only way to really know is when the rainy season begins. Well I guess we found out it didn't get fixed. Luckily we are not held responsible because it's an exterior issue and that falls under our HOA.

A portion of our ceiling and wall has been gutted out to remove any moisture. We've been living with a dehumidifier and fans for four days and I tell you.....all I want is silence in my house!! Hopefully today they will be removed.

Last weekend was also the beginning of Reesa's head cold. Yuck!! Poor girl hasn't been able to breathe through her nose until today. Which meant that she didn't eat well, nap well, or sleep well. I will admit it was really hard to care for her when I was sleep deprived and did not get any nap breaks because she would only take 30 minute naps in her car seat. Today is the first day that in a week that she has slept in her crib during the day. I'm so glad that she is doing better and that we can hopefully return to normalcy soon.

And with that.....Reesa is up and we are headed out for errands and tonight we are taking a trip to Zoo Lights!!
