Sunday was the sunniest day yet in Portland. I actually got a tan line on my feet!! It started out rough because Reesa got a little head cold this weekend so she woke up at an unheard of hour: 4:30am. She wanted to go back to sleep but she really could breathe through her nose, poor girl. Patrick took the morning shift and laid with her in her room while I slept and then I took over while Patrick slept. Good team work but I know that I got the better end of that deal :)
Once everyone had their morning nap we headed out for the day to hang in the sunshine with friends downtown. After lunch with Vikki and Birch, we strolled the park blocks with some frozen yogurt and then ended the day chillin' on a blanket on the grass along the waterfront.
Reesa didn't care too much for the grass. She didn't like the way it felt under her feet. I think we will have to work on that this summer. Later we walked to one of the fountains and Reesa got to jump around like she loves to do.
Finally at 6pm we headed home for dinner and our evening routine. A great deal of the day spent outside and in the sun. My absolute two favorite :) With coffee of course!!
