Reesa loved playing at Foothills Park. It was so much fun seeing her run in and out of the water this year. It's a quiet park along the river that usually is empty during the week so we get the whole little stream all to ourselves.

Director's Park became a weekly trip this summer. I would stroll with Reesa downtown and then we would end for lunch and water play. I love being downtown and this spot is a huge win-win for Reesa and I.

This was Reesa's favorite outfit to wear this summer. Can you tell how much she loves playing outside and in the water?

Our days usually started at the park until nap time and ended at another park until dinner time. I figured since we don't have year-long sunshine we might as well take advantage of the sun while it lasted.
This morning we layered up and still went to a park but it's just not the same without the sunshine. The energy level is much more mellow.
A big announcement in our family is that Reesa is starting preschool on Friday!! We were planning on waiting until November but each time we went in to hand in paperwork or drop off a craft project (they actually give homework!) Reesa would walk into her classroom and didn't want to leave!! So we decided to start this week and we went in and her quilt square is hung up with all her friends at The Playschool. I'm really excited for her and it'll be a nice break on Fridays until boy Kelley comes along.

As always we have Reesa videos that we think are funny and show different aspects of Reesa's personality.
I'm loving September so far and feeling good. At my last doctor's appointment my doc told me to pick up my hospital registration packet. What??!! Why? He told me that the next time I see him I will be 7 months pregnant and I want to have that taken care of. Huh? Where did the time go? It's true I'm now 6 months prego and I've asked to have my appointments spaced further apart because every 4 weeks with a kiddo is too much work for me so in 6 weeks I will be 7 months pregnant. Crazy!!
Isn't that life...
