RENT.....

In the mindset of expressing our love because today is Saturday in Korea, which means it's Valentine's Day; I realized I forgot about RENT. We went to a musical, our Christmas gift to one another. We were sad about Christmas, so we really didn't want to make a big deal about it. We thought a great way to spend it together would be to do something fun and special together. When in Korea.......go to an American musical with Koreans that sing all the songs you recognize in Korean. What else would you do?

It was a fantastic experience and I hope we can hit a concert before we leave. Jason Mraz was in town, but we couldn't go during the time he was here. Bummer.....I'm sure other artists will make their way through Seoul.

Here is a clip Patrick took while we were at RENT. The wonderful thing about being a foreigner is that you can get away with things like taking video during a performance. The staff comes down to tell you to turn it off, but since you don't speak Korean, you get at least an additional 15 seconds of video time because you get to stare at them blankly as they try to express their point to someone who doesn't understand their language. Brilliant!!
