Well it's been a month. What have we done? Lets see..... The first week back we found a doctor and confirmed that we are indeed having a girl. We were a bit overwhelmed by all the "English". I think the nurse could sense our "we just got back from a foreign land" look, because she said, "Welcome back to America."The second week we spent down in California. Our first baby shower!! It was great to spend time with family. Even the men played games. Since we haven't picked a name yet, my whole family had a long list of possibilities. My uncle Steve made a list of his favorites. You have to love family!!
We made our way up stopping in San Fran to visit Uncle Sonny and Aunt Terri. Patrick got to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time.
Since we have been back, it has been filled with fun Portland activities.

Going out to the barn to watch Kathy and Linda ride. I like to keep a safe distance from Tigo. He's a giant.
Patrick went to the UFC Championships with James.Along with church shopping, concerts in the park, and fire pit burritos, we are adjusting well. It's time to get settled as we enter the fall season. Only 2.5 more months till baby beano gets here. I've been receiving wonderful presents and hand-me-downs for baby. I've decided that I only want to buy one outfit for my daughter before she is born. She will grow so quickly in the first year, that I have been advised by a number of mommies, not to spend a lot of money on clothes. So I decided, I better make it a good one!!
Isn't this so cute!!! I found black leggings to go with her tutu today.It's nice to be home with friends and family.

Thanks for blogging again! Love the pictures and glad you are adjusting so well to being back. Josh and I really need to head up there for a P-town double date sometime soon. In the meantime, blessings on you and your baby girl.
I love seeing pictures of you and your belly, Maria! Wish I could be there to see your baby girl when she's born. Maybe I'll come home sometime soon. . . then I will definitely want to see you :)
Too, too cute! :) Those things they can wear and wear and wear so even though they technically seem impractical, since they wear them for years and feel so special in them, they're really a great bargain. It's nice that they can officially say what you're having.
