Cabinet Update

I've mentioned in previous posts that Patrick had a project with our cabinets in the living room. It was technically a wet bar; it had a sink and lighting to host a bar in your living area. Our condo was built in 1970, so I figure that was the cool and trendy thing to do :) Here's are the cabinets.

Unfortunately we did not take before pictures and all of a sudden a few Sundays back, Patrick decided to take a mallet to the inside and the sink and counter were gone. He chose this really pretty wood that has a hint of green in it. Patrick replaced the counter and installed shelving for his beer mugs collected from around the world.

Yes I know it sounds strange when you hear that we made a closet for beer mugs, but when you see how cool each mug/pint is, I think it's fabulous!! We have a mug from the actual Oktoberfest in Munich, a mug from Mongolia, and beer from North Korea. Yup we posses North Korean beer.

Below is where we decided to keep our good bottles of wine, wine glasses and the bottles that have fun labels like little chica and mad housewife.

The bottom cabinets will be storage for Reesa's toys. So there you have it, our newest project completed!! I guess you can say it's more of an updated wine and beer bar.

Now this is a random photo, but Erin, Patrick's co-worker doesn't like fish. He wanted to show her that fish can look appetizing. We have a blackened ahi tuna.
